My response:
"Well...being a wardrobe/personal stylist is not something you can be taught, you have to have an innate sense and creative mind to be able to piece clothing items together, that no one else would have thought to do. Just because you love to shop or just because you are a great dresser, does NOT make you a stylist. To be a stylist you have look at yourself as an artist, people have to trust you and most importantly you have to trust yourself. Every trend that you see in a magazine, whether you like it or not, someone had to create that look. Keep in mind that you are dealing with someone's appearance...that is their self-esteem, you are that make it or break it if they get a job or not, etc. So, its more than walking through a mall and putting clothes on someone. Its a natural gift that you have to posses and either you have it or you dont. "
Last thought: There is enough room for all talented individuals...just as there might be thousands of aspiring wardrobe stylist...there are thousands of hair stylist, doctors, lawyers...let everyone shine if they are good at what they do.
LOVE YOU-
